The SEA HOOK is a 1987 General Marine Works 25.  It is almost 25' long and nearly 10' wide. The extra width gives the boat more stability while fishing the open waters of Nantucket Sound as well as more room for coolers and buckets with open area to move around in.

It is powered by a 315 HP Yanmar diesel that is clean and efficient.  It has enough power to move quickly through a choppy sea or against a running tide while carrying a full complement of fishermen with full coolers. It has two heaters. One is by the helm the other down below. They are great for keeping everyone dry and warm on those colder season days where there might not be enough sun to keep everyone happy.

Last winter I had stern controls put in to aid in bass fishing 'The Rips.'  What a great difference that made.

The boat has lights under the gunwales that improve safety when fishing at night and a Sunbrella winter-back to keep driving rain and cold outside.

The boat hosts a group of FURUNO electronics that let everyone know where they are at all times while keeping tabs on the fish.  Most of the electronics are the newer color display models.

While this is an older boat, it has had a lot of refreshing updates added to it by the crew at Cape Cod Marine in Dennis. Even though they are a small crew, additional updates will be added in an effort to keep the fishermen (and women) comfortable, busy and happy.
